Greetings everyone! As most of you know, the Arapahoe County Democratic Party biennial re-organization meeting took place on Saturday, February 5. As a result, we have new leadership for House District 37.
Newly elected officers are:
Laurie Ritchie, Chair
Ron Puening, 1st Vice Chair
Ellen Campos, 2nd Vice Chair
Barbara Jones, Secretary
Maureen Thyfault, Treasurer (re-elected)
We'd like to introduce ourselves to you at the next HD37 meeting (Feb. 22, C.B. & Potts, 6pm for dinner, meeting at 7pm) , share some ideas with you, and get your input on how we should move forward and what you'd like our priorites to be. We have a great opportunity to build our framework and connections in advance of the 2012 election and would like to start doing that now, with your suggestions and enthusiasm!
We'd love to see as many folks as possible (PCP's, friends, neighbors wanting to get involved) turn out for the Feb. 22 meeting, so mark your calendar now and watch this space for details!
