There are two events being sponsored by Change That Works to continue the fight to pass healthcare reform. The first is this Friday. Change that Works will be presenting a health care super hero cape to Senator Michael Bennet at his office in Denver this Friday, February 12th at 12:45pm. His office is located at 2300 15th Street, Suite 450 near REI. We'll thank him for being a champion on the health care bill and ask him to make sure it get's passed! These capes have been available for you to sign during our past few ACT meetings. Now, if you can, join us when we present one to Senator Michael Bennet.
Are you frustrated with special interests stalling progress in DC? Come yell with Change that Works and its partner organizations at a rally next Wednesday, February 17th at 3:30pm at the Wells Fargo Tower downtown at 17th and Lincoln. The message is to put Main Street before Wall Street and pass health care reform, financial regulation, and a jobs bill that will help the economy fully recover and rebuild the middle class. Change That Works will have speakers and chant with signs. There's sure to be press, as last year's event made it on the national nightly news!
