ARAPAHOE COUNTY DEMS CENTURY CLUB PRESENTS
U.S. REPRESENTATIVE ED PERLMUTTER
The Arapahoe County Democrats Century Club invites you to hear U.S Representative Ed Perlmutter discuss legislative accomplishments of the President & Congressional Democrats in 2011 and a path to Democratic success in 2012.
In 1994, Ed was elected to the Colorado State Senate as the first Democrat in his district to hold the seat in 30 years. He served two terms and garnered the reputation as a bipartisan bridge-builder and a champion of renewable energy and smart growth policies. Through his leadership role in the state senate, Ed is credited as being one of the principal architects of the "Blueprint" – a strategy which ended Republican dominance of Colorado politics.
In 2006, Ed was first elected to represent the 7th Congressional District in Congress and is serving in his third term. In the 112th Congress, Ed is proud to be assigned to the exclusive Financial Services Committee. This event is free for Century Club members.
