Prescription Discount Cards and Request for Nominations for 2010 Best of Centennial

Prescription Discount Cards

The City of Centennial still has prescription discount cards available at the Civic Center.  The discount cards are offered by Arapahoe County to all residents to help reduce prescription costs.  The free cards can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 13133 East Arapahoe Road.

Any Arapahoe County resident without prescription coverage can use the program.  Even with insurance for prescription drugs, the discount card can be used to save money on prescription drugs that insurance does not cover.  There is no income or age eligibility requirement and the discounts are available for the whole family.

Cardholders present the discount card at any participating retail pharmacy. There are more than 100 in Arapahoe County.  The savings varies but the average is 22 percent off the regular retail price.  Nine out of ten pharmacies nationwide participate, including all major chain stores and many independent pharmacies.

Pick up your card and start saving today. For more information, call 303-738-7926 or toll free 1-877-321-2652.   Information is also available at
