We only had a few people attending our District 1 Meeting on the 9th of this month, but still there was great discussion and questions to the two presentations – Medical Marijuana and Centennial City Park. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before Jacque Wedding-Scott, Centennial City Manager, was able to present a recap of city accomplishments for the past year. We have invited her back to our next District meeting which we plan for August (at the end of the summer when everybody is back in town for a while.
The views on both topics were mixed but focused and concerned for the impact to the city. This makes great dialog and helps Rick, me and staff to get a pulse of what our district is thinking and feeling. So though we were few, we had great discussions.
