Well, that didn't take long. The attack ads have started already, and they are completely unfair... to zebras.
We couldn't just sit idly by and let out-of-state interest groups impugn the good name of one of the most social creatures in the animal kingdom. Do you know how zebra's fend off attacks?
In all seriousness, we're going to campaign on our vision to build Colorado up -- instead of tearing our opponents down. Our state is facing real economic challenges. That's why we are approaching our run for governor like a job interview. And you wouldn't go into a real job interview and start trashing the other applicants.
On this campaign, we are going to say, "Here is our resume: Ours is the only campaign that can say we've created jobs, successfully run small businesses, and balanced major city budgets through two national recessions. We believe that experience will be critical to bringing prosperity back to Colorado."
