As you may have heard, the City Council asked staff to continue the moratorium on marijuana shops in Centennial until 31 December 2010 or until the State develops their rules and regulations to accompany the recently passed bill and the City can work from there to develop our own rules and regulations. The 1st reading for the medical MJ ordinance and the Moratorium Extension ordinance is tentatively scheduled for our next City Council Meeting, 7 June 2010 at 7:00 PM MT.
The next District 1 Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, 9 June 2010, at 6:00 PM MT, at the South Metro Chamber of Commerce across University from Whole Foods at Streets at Southglenn. Come and get a good understanding and give your opinion of what the City is looking at for the City Park accelerated Funding plan, the Marijuana permitting plan and have a recap of city accomplishments.
