Hightower on Romanoff

Dear Friend,

If you didn't get a chance to see PDA Advisory Board member, Jim Hightower during his recent visit to Colorado, please listen to the latest episode of Agitator Voices of PDA. Jim is interviewed in the first segment.

In the interview, Jim talks about a candidate he is supporting--Colorado's former Speaker of the House, Andrew Romanoff. Romanoff is young, experienced and worthy of progressive support. According to his website, Romanoff supports:

• Single-payer healthcare
• An immediate and orderly withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan
• Reigning in Wall Street and protecting consumers
• Creating green-collar jobs through renewable energy

• Quality public education from early childhood through college

We encourage you to learn more about this progressive Democrat before the precinct caucus meetings this Tuesday, March 16. Click here to find the one in your precinct.

And don't forget, Brown Bag Lunch Vigils will be happening across the country, this Wednesday. It's not too late to start one!

In order to transform the Democratic Party, we need to work within it, and that begins on Tuesday night. Please try to attend your precinct caucus meeting, and have fun while you're there!

In peace and solidarity,

Tim Carpenter,
PDA National Director
