Tomorrow, Thursday, August 6, there are two events to spotlight our support for healthcare reform.
Nancy Pelosi, Representatives Jared Polis and Diana DeGette touring the Stout Street Clinic
Where: Stout Street Clinic, 2100 Broadway, Denver, CO Map
When: Thursday, August 6 at 1:30 pm
There will be a lot of media covering this event and those against reform will attend to make their message heard. For that same reason, we plan to attend and ensure that our support is seen and heard.
Stand up to Support Healthcare Reform!
Where: 9135 Ridgeline Blvd, Highlands Ranch. Meet in the Upper Parking Lot. Map
When: Thursday, August 6 at 3:15 PM
In Highlands Ranch, the Teabagger's have organized a rally in opposition to Healthcare Reform. The people are being bused here - funded by rich special interests that are against healthcare reform. ACT will attend to counter their message and stand in support of healthcare reform. If you have a sign, bring it - or make one. Remember, our message is powerful - we are not paid lobbyists or special interests - we are ordinary, Coloradans, with a message to our elected officials.
There's a lot of misinformation out there, and the fact remains, that our healthcare system is in crisis. This month is critical to moving forward with healthcare reform. We need our elected officials to hear our message of urgency, our hope for meaningful reform. The time is now to stand up for healthcare reform.
