Agenda and Program

1 pm – Panel Discussion featuring:

Senator Morgan Carroll will speak on why we should lobby and what difference it makes and how to work around obstacles.

Senator Linda Newell will focus on how to prepare fact sheets and why.

Professional lobbyist Benjamin Waters with Rocky Mtn Farmers Union, will talk about preparing for and giving testimony.

 

A. W. Schnellbacher, volunteer lobbyist for AARP will speak about dress and body language and networking with others.

 

Others invited include lobbyists from the Sierra Club and Colorado Environment Coalition.

 

3 to 6 pm: Working sessions, break-out groups around these topics
