Years from now, your grandchildren will ask you where you were on January 20th, 2009, when Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President. When you think back, don't you want to remember celebrating with millions of other Americans?
Well, you can! We're partnering with MoveOn, and a bunch of our progressive allies to organize Inaugural Bashes on Tuesday night and there are more than 3000 (!) happening across the country.
Find an Inaugural Bash near you
There are all kinds of Inaugural Bashes to choose from. There are potlucks in people's homes, laid back get-togethers in local bars, and even some full-fledged Inaugural balls. You can check out all the parties in your area to find one that's your style.
And whichever party you choose, the important thing is that you'll be coming together with progressives in your community who are thrilled about Barack Obama's inauguration and ready to work for the change we know our country so desperately needs.
The grassroots movement that powered Obama's campaign isn't going away. But we'll get back to the hard work of changing our country on January 21st. On January 20th, we're going to celebrate all we've achieved together.
